hamster love to play, they also like to smell anything around them...Wheels are always a favorite for exercise, though it is recommended that solid wheels be provided. Injuries can be frequent in wheels with rungs—limbs, babies' heads, etc. can often be easily caught between the rungs and can cause injuries and sometimes death. Wheels should be large enough so that the hamster can run with ease without arching it's back.

Although they can survive on a diet of exclusively commercial hamster food, other items, such as vegetables, fruits, seeds, and nuts, can be given, but these should be removed before they become rotten. Hamsters in the Middle East have been known to hunt in packs to find insects for food. Hamsters are hindgut fermenters and must eat their own feces (coprophagy) to recover nutrients digested in the hindgut, but not absorbed.

Like of other animals they also produce a baby....and they do anything just to protect their baby's.Hamster are born hairless and blind in a nest the mother will have prepared an advance. after one week , they begin to explore outside the nest. They are completely weaned  after three weeks.
